Welcome to Casa Carla - A charming country home in private, tranquil surroundings
Nestled among gentle hills and surrounded by forest, olive trees and cypresses, Casa Carla is a spacious two-storey country house for up to nine guests. The 130 m² home combines rustic Tuscan charm with modern comfort. The open-plan living and dining area with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen invites you to relax and enjoy your time together. Five cosy bedrooms (with air conditioning on the upper floor) ensure restful nights, while three bathrooms offer plenty of space for a stress-free start to the day. One of the downstairs bedrooms and the living-dining area are also air-conditioned. Fans are available throughout the house.
Outdoor Paradise with Private Pool
The highlight: a completely private pool (9.8 × 4.9 m) – perfect for refreshing dips on warm days. A 40 m² terrace, partly shaded, and a nearby BBQ area with comfy seating create the perfect setting for laid-back summer evenings under the Tuscan stars. There's even a traditional outdoor bread and pizza oven beside the pool.

Located just a few kilometres from Roccastrada, Casa Carla offers true seclusion and breathtaking views across treetops all the way to Monte Amiata. Nature lovers and those seeking peace will instantly feel at home.
Access & Parking
Zum Haus führt ein etwa 700m langer Schotterweg – eine typische, italienische Privatstraße. Drei Parkplätze auf dem abschließbaren Grundstück vorhanden. Je nach Wetterlage kann es zu kleinen Unebenheiten kommen. Jedoch sind die Besitzer sehr bemüht und die Straße ist gut befahrbar. Bitte beachten Sie: Für sehr tief gelegte Fahrzeuge oder Sportwagen ist der Weg nicht geeignet.

Reasons why a visit is worthwhile
Der malerische Hügelort Roccastrada im Herzen der Maremma, der 475 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel liegt. Sobald man Roccastrada verlässt, stehen 146 km lange Wanderstrecken zur Verfügung, die als Trekking Roccastrada markiert sind. Roccastrada ist ein Städtchen mit Altstadt und kleinem Theater. In den mittelalterlichen Gassen finden Sie lauschige Restaurants und hübsche kleine Plätze. Unterhalb des Turms hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht über das Land. Roccastrada hat eine gute Infrastruktur.
Zum Meer nach Follonica sind es ca. 40 km. Weitere Bademöglichkeiten gibt es im Fluss bei Torniella (ca. 13km). Auch die Thermalquellen von Petriolo sind gut zu erreichen (ca. 22km). Fluss Farma 16 km und der Badesee Accesa 30 km.
